The activities of the Association

The association has  organised several seminars around safety matters and tourism for traditional sailingship people. We aim to organize following up seminars several times per year.

The association has started an EU Interreg III A project in cooperation with Sveriges Segelfartygsförening an Ålands Sjöfartsmuseum 1.1.2006 the a two-year-long  , Skutkultur, which aims to improve the chances of windjammer activity by

• Developing new products and business ideas
• Organizing common activities for ships
  
• Developing a web portal for support
  

The organization gathers together Finnish sailing ships and seafarers, and our main activities are PR, training, events and marketing. The project is fininced by Interreg III A Skärgården, Svenska Kulturfonden, Egentliga Finlands förbund, Nylands förbund, Ålands landsskapsregering, Stockholms Läns landsting och Länsstyrelsen i Stockholms län samt Konstsamfundet.
